Amber, an agent of happiness, travels the Himalayas of Bhutan, researching people’s happiness. On his distant mountain journey, he seeks fulfillment.. Watching Agent of Happiness, I wasn’t sure if it was a satire because the calculation of the happiness index seems… so simple. I mean, the barometer of happiness, if there can be one, is so complex that there are far too many things to consider. It was great to see the interviews the two main characters do with people from different walks of life and the potshots at some of them. people who are happy at the expense of others in their family. Perhaps the moral is that if most things in your life are good enough, you will most likely be happy. Even if that takes into account the number of cows you own or the latest iPhone. The main guy is charming and I wish I could be as happy as he is in the movie, regardless of the sources of his sadness. (Screened at the 2024 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.)

In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, lands in a high-profile job for which she is not suited, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future.. The producers convinced both the American & British governments to let them use real-life settings as filming locations for the series, including the still-recent American embassy (at Nine Elms) that opened in 2018. Britain allowed filming inside the foreign secretary's office, a rarely bestowed honour for any film or screen production, especially an American one.

The one unavailable location was Winfield House, the American ambassador's actual residence. Although it's accurately described as occupying the largest plot of residential land (11 acres) in London aside from Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes.. There's a moment, I think it was about mid-way through Season 1 of the series, that one of the sub-plots went slightly in a different direction than I had expected, and it was a good thing.Otherwise, the dysfunctional relationships – both personal and professional – among the major characters somehow works and I like it.

"Madam Secretary" this is not; nor is it "Veep"

The writers did a good job of keeping the action tightly focused.Both the characters and plots work. Sure, it's not very believable but it's fun and at times tense. And that's a very good thing.I should also mention that the acting and dialogues are also quite good.

Are they believable?

The casting was well done. Again, no. But that's ok.

Please don't f— it up

Very fast I understood that this is a fantasy, not reality.Netflix did a good job on this one. I'm really looking forward to Season 2.

Abrams’ "Lost" has an almost entirely different cast

Sawyer’s character was originally intended to be an older, smooth, suit-wearing urban crook from Buffalo, New York.

But when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition, then kicked a chair in frustration and cursed loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as a darker, southern drifter instead. Jin and Sun get married and share the family name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, in Korea, it’s not even allowed to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare cases.

The strange opening credits were shot by J.J. Abrams on his laptop in black and white, like an homage to The Twilight Zone.. Lost is without a doubt one of the best TV series I’ve ever seen. What can we say about this amazing show that hasn’t already been said.

I’ll never understand why people give a show a low rating just because the ending wasn’t great

If you were to read the best shows of all time, I guarantee Lost would be on the list. The only thing I would suggest is that you don’t do anything else while you’re watching this show, give it your undivided attention, because there are so many twists, Easter eggs, and little details that you’ll miss if you’re not paying attention. Well, the ending wasn’t as good as people hoped, but that doesn’t take away from the 6 seasons and 120 episodes that came before it. Lost was 6 years old and over 120 hours of TV that you enjoyed, a few bad moments at the end don’t take away from the time you loved.

I didn’t think the ending was that bad, it just could have been better

Obviously it would be better if the ending was as great as the show, but when a show is as good as Lost, it’s hard to please all fans. Overall, though, Lost is one of the best television series ever made and is a must-watch.
