They feel like apprenticeships
The animation is beautiful, that’s undeniable. While I struggle to get excited about short episodes like these. You can’t really get into it because you know it’s over before you even get to know the characters. It was nice to see some celebrity involvement.
Reeves and Arnie play enjoyable roles
It’s a little too experimental and lacking in depth for me. Besides, if I had the chance to choose the source material. I think I would have chosen a completely different set of games that I would have appreciated. The Pacman episode was o.k.
At least that made me laugh
But it was a demonstration of artistic license being pushed to its absolute limit. Overall, the whole series seemed a bit underwhelming. 6 for visuals.. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
